Self Care can be really easy to put off and avoid. To prevent yourself from putting it off, you can be intentional by designating specific times to take care of yourself. By setting aside this time and either writing it down or putting it into a calendar, you are more likely to actually do it!
Ways to be intentional
1. Telling friends, family, or coworker about the times you've designated for yourself, so they know that you are off limits at that time.
2. Setting reminders on your phone, so you don't forget.
3. Thinking about how you can realistically fit self care into your schedule, which makes you less likely to cancel later.
